How do I join the MOMS Club?
Simply send an email to info@momsclubcwl.org requesting more information about our upcoming activities.
How much does membership cost?
Our
dues are currently $24 per year. Member dues cover administrative costs
such as various office supplies and special programs. We
understand that sometimes one-income families might have financial
hardship. If dues are a true obstacle to your joining, please speak
with one of our board members.
What about my children?
Children are always welcome at all
of our events, except those evening events that are scheduled
specifically for Moms (such as Moms Night Out). Please understand that
you have sole responsibility for your child's safety and behavior at
any Commerce/Walled Lake Area Moms Club event.
What types of activities are planned?
We
plan events such as trips to the zoo, bird watching/feeding at the
nature center, farm center/nature center tours, afternoon movie
matinees, cooking classes, soccer/gymnastic classes, cupcake
decorating, rollerskating, Kindermusik, apple orchard/pumpkin patches,
strawberry picking, book swap/library playtime, beaches, restaurants,
Christmas caroling, snacks with Santa/Easter Bunny, snow sledding,
museums, park play dates, etc.
What if I can't attend all of the planned activities/playgroups?
You decide
which activities best suit the interests of you and your child and
attend as many or as few activities as you wish. Nothing is mandatory.
What if I want to join but don't live in the Commerce/Walled Lake area?
Unfortunately, we do not accept membership from anyone living outside of the Commerce/Walled Lake or Wolverine Village boundaries. Several other moms groups are in the area, so please feel free to send a request for information regarding those clubs whose geographic locations better suite you.
